83 Woodworks LLC is a custom cabinet and woodworking shop specializing in high-quality craftsmanship, CNC machining, and made-to-order projects. We’re looking for a motivated, entry-level woodshop worker to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and taking pride in building quality products. You’ll assist with cabinet fabrication, CNC-based production, shop organization, and on-site installs while learning professional woodworking and digital manufacturing practices.

The Right Person Will:

• Have basic knowledge of woodworking tools (table saws, sanders, drills, etc.)

• Be able to assist in cabinet builds and installations

• Take pride in completing tasks accurately and on time

• Be clean, organized, and safety-conscious

• Have an interest in CNC machining and digital manufacturing

• Have prior CNC experience or a strong desire to learn (a plus, not required)

• Work well independently and as part of a team

• Be reliable, punctual, and motivated

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with cabinet and furniture construction

• Supporting CNC machining operations (material loading, setup assistance, part handling)

• Sanding, assembly, material handling, and finishing prep

• Maintaining a clean and organized shop

• Helping load, unload, and assist with installations

• Proper use and care of shop tools and CNC equipment

Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications:

• Experience in a woodshop, cabinet shop, construction, or manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of Mozaik CNC Cabinet Software and/or SketchUp

• Familiarity with CNC routers, CAD/CAM software, or strong interest in learning

• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

• Attention to detail and respect for quality craftsmanship

Future Growth Path – CNC & Manufacturing

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term skill set. Depending on interest and performance, this role can grow into:

• CNC Assistant / Operator – machine setup, tooling, and production runs

• CNC Programmer / Cabinet Designer – working with Mozaik and SketchUp for cabinet design and nested-based manufacturing

• Lead CNC Operator or Shop Lead – overseeing CNC production, workflow, and quality control

Training and mentorship will be provided for motivated individuals who show reliability, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

📍 Location: Saco, Maine

⏰ Schedule: 40 Hours/Week, M-F 8-4:30, Occasional overtime as needed.
